You can subscribe to America’s favorite food magazines by locating the magazine cover icon on the Recipe Finder homepage, selecting the desired magazine from the pull-down menu and clicking the ’subscribe‘ button.

E-mail address — How do I change it?
To change your e-mail address, after you log in, click on the “Update My Profile” link at the top of the page. Click on the “Change Your E-mail” link.

E-mail address — When I registered, I received a message saying my e-mail address already exists in the Recipe Finder database. How can this be?
Your e-mail address may be in our database if you currently receive the Taste of Home newsletter or other e-mails from Reiman Publications, if you are a subscriber to one of our magazines or if you are a registered user on one of our Bulletin Boards.

E-mail newsletters — How can I sign up to receive e-mail newsletters and what are my choices?
You can register to receive e-mail newsletters from Taste of Home and Reiman Publications, that contain handy tips, and recipes from cooks like you. To update your profile and indicate which e-mail newsletters you’d like to receive, after you log in, click on the “Update My Profile” link at the top of the page.

Joining Recipe Finder — How much does it cost to join and what will I get?
Portions of the Taste of Home Recipe Finder are free, including:
  • Searching and sorting more than 15,000 recipes
  • Functionality such as printing, e-mailing and rating recipes
Users who register by providing their e-mail address will have access to all the free areas of the site plus:
  • Ability to create personalized “My Recipe Box”, “My Grocery List” and “My Saved Searches”.

Password — How can I change it?
Changing your password is easy. After you log in, click on the ‘Update My Profile’ link at the top of the page. Under ‘Optional Information’, type a new password into the ‘Change Password’ box and confirm the new password in the ‘Repeat New Password’ box.

Password — I forgot it. What can I do?
Click ‘Log In’ at the top of the page and look for the ‘Forgot Password’? link. Your password will be emailed to you. You may also click here.

Password — when I attempt to log in, I receive an error message saying my account is locked or that I am entering an invalid password. What can I do?
These messages display when the password being entered differs from the one we have on file for you. Click here to be taken to the ‘Forgot Password’ page. The password we have on file for you will be emailed to you.

If you like, you may change your password. After you log in, click on the “Update My Profile” link at the top of the page. Under “Optional Information”, type a new password into the “Change Password” box and confirm the new password in the “Repeat New Password” box.

Phone Calls — Can I call Reiman Publications with a question or comment about Recipe Finder?
We’re sorry, but Recipe Finder is not supported by call center staff or phone customer service.

Most technical problems with Recipe Finder come as a result of two issues-Cookies and older versions of internet browsers.

Cookies—Cookies are small pieces of code that allow a website to talk to your computer’s internet browser. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. For best results while using Recipe Finder it is recommended that you have ‘cookies’ enabled on your machine. Recipe Finder uses cookies to help you access areas of the site like My Recipe Box, My Grocery List and My Saved Searches. If you do not have your cookies ‘enabled’ or if your machine is set to not accept cookies, you may not be bale to access any personalized account features. We do not use cookies to track which sites you visit so enabling the use of cookies for our site is safe and confidential. To learn more about cookies please refer to your browser’s ‘Tools’ menu or by typing ‘Cookies’ into your browser’s Help menu.

Internet Browsers—Many times problems encountered using websites such as Recipe Finder can be corrected by updating your computer’s internet browser version. Recipe Finder is best experienced using the following internet browsers and versions or higher:

PC—Internet Explorer v.6.0 or higher, Netscape v.6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox v.1.0 or higher

Mac—Safari v.1.2, Netscape v.6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox v.1.0 or higher
Note: Recipe Finder is not optimized to perform in Internet Explorer for the Mac.

Profile — How do I update my profile?
You can easily update your name, address, e-mail address, password, and preferences, after you log in, by clicking on the “Update My Profile” link at the top of the page.

Recipes — How do I ask a question about a specific recipe?
We are not able to respond to the vast number of questions we receive about individual recipes and specific dietary needs. The best way for you to get answers is to visit our Bulletin Board. In many cases your questions will be answered in a matter of hours.
